There are two ways to post a link to the forum.
(1) Post the Link
The most obvious way is to just post the link. All active links on the forum are colored rather than black, so people should be able to just click on it and it will take them to the website.
(2) Create "Clickable" Text
Instead of just posting a link, you may wish to have text which people can click on which will then take them to a desired link. For every day posting, this might not be something you want to do, but many people like to post links to things in their "signatures" and this works well for that type of situation. There are two ways to create "clickable" text.

Using The Shortcut Button
To use the short cut buttons, when you are posting a reply to a thread, you must hit the "reply" button on the right hand side of the top or bottom of the thread's page. The short cut buttons aren't visible if you respond using the "Quick Reply" box that is at the bottom of every thread. When you hit "reply" you will be taken to another page. In the message box, type your response. When you are ready to post your link, click on the icon. After clicking it, this -
should appear in your post. To make "clickable" text, put the link inside the first set of brackets and add an "=" before the URL. It should look like-
Then, in between the brackets, you should type whatever words you wish to be "clickable." The code when you are finished should look like this:
When you post your reply, the link shouldn't be visible, but the text in between your brackets, the "CLICK HERE" in this example, should now be colored instead of black.
Manually HTML Code
You can manually HTML code your posts by either using the "Quick Reply" box or by using the "Reply" page. If you are going to manually HTML code, then all you have to do is type in the code yourself instead of hitting the shortcut button. Just type the following-
